派拉蒙影业最近为《乐来越爱你》导演达米恩查泽雷最新执导力作《巴比伦》举行了首场试映活动，这部设定在好莱坞早期的时代喜剧，本周一晚间於比佛利山庄的塞缪尔戈尔德温剧院放映，而首波反应也开始出现在社群平台上。
这部长达 188 分钟的史诗喜剧是达米恩查泽雷今年冲奥的代表作，这位导演曾在 2016 年凭藉着《乐来越爱你》成为了有史以来最年轻的奥斯卡最佳导演得主，而由他执导的《登月先锋》以及《进击的鼓手》都各自在当年的奖季中获得了优异的成绩。
《巴比伦》卡司众星云集，由玛格罗比、迪亚哥卡尔瓦以及布莱德彼特担任主要角色，其他演员还有陶比麦奎尔、珍史玛特以及贾方艾德波等。而根据导演的说法，本片几个最大的灵感来源是费里尼的《生活的甜蜜》、劳勃阿特曼的《纳什维尔》以及柯波拉的《教父》。

虽然《巴比伦》目前已经公开了首波社群媒体反映，但派拉蒙尚未订下完整评论公开的时间。
《巴比伦》预计将会在 12 月 23 日於北美上映，而在原本的计画中，导演曾打算向让本片在圣诞节进行小规模起先放映，之後在 2023 年 1 月才正式上映，但片商则决定改变这项计画，在 12 月底的节庆档期就大规模上映，不难看出他们对於本片的信心。
